Battery life calibration wasn't working and now I'm confused

I got my s20 a week ago and charged it was dead so I charged it to 30 percent and then set it up but since then by battery drains a bit fast and it stays on 1 percent for a while e.g 1 hour and I tried draining it till 0 and then charging it back to 100 percent but I don't think it's working. Will my phone fix it by itself or should I do something else to remedy the issue?

I would recommend that you take it to your nearest Samsung Service Centre for an assessment to be done

Lol no my nearest samsung center will charge me like 3k pull for a simple assessment

It was basically an open box as it was an import and was locked to an American carrier so they had to open it to carrier unlock it so idk

Oh, that might be a hurdle. You might have to pay seeing that it's an international device
