I recently replaced the battery of my Galaxy S21 Plus at a Samsung Authorized Service Center. However, even after installing the new battery, the battery health status still shows as "Weak." The service center staff have no explanation for this and have advised me to wait for the next software update. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is there any other solution to resolve this?

That's concerning! The "Weak" battery health status after replacing the battery at a Samsung Authorized Service Center is unusual.

_Possible Causes_

1. _Calibration issue_: The new battery might need calibration, which can take some time.
2. _Software glitch_: A software bug or glitch might be causing the incorrect battery health status.
3. _Hardware compatibility issue_: There could be a compatibility issue between the new battery and the device's hardware.

_Troubleshooting Steps_

1. _Calibrate the battery_: Let the battery drain to 0% and then charge it to 100%. Repeat this process a few times to help calibrate the battery.
2. _Check for software updates_: Ensure your device is running the latest software. Go to _Settings_ > _Software update_ > _Download and install_.
3. _Reset battery statistics_: Go to _Settings_ > _Device care_ > _Battery_ > _More battery settings_ > _Reset battery statistics_.
4. _Contact Samsung support again_: Reach out to Samsung's customer support and provide them with more details about the issue. They might be able to offer additional guidance or escalate the issue.

Hey, I was just casually checking the 3rd troubleshooting option, but there was no such 'More battery settings' under the Battery section of Device Care. I'm on One UI 6.1

How much screen on time you get from new battery? Can you share how you are using it 120hz or other factor dark mode or light brightness etc.
