Battery draining issue after updation of May 24 security update

After updation of May 2024 security update I'm facing rapid battery draining issue.Today morning while I open my phone the CONTACT STORAGE SECTION uses 4 percent battery.

Actually I don't know what's this section ?

It's not easy to reset factory data everytime, why not samsung fix this issue at their end through software ?

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update may be fix it by Samsung team soon. The best thing to overcome draining issue is GO TO SETTINGS > APPS > GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES > PERMISSIONS > CONTACTS ( DON'T ALLOW).
CONTACT STORAGE is draning battery from here.

Finally I got the sollution of BATTERY DRAINAGE issue in galaxy S24 series.
I've added the sollution as screen shot for all.

To stop battery drain in contact storage on a Samsung Galaxy S24+, you can try these steps:

Go to Settings

Select Apps

Select Show system app from the three dots on the right side

Go to Contact storage app

Select Battery-restricted
