Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the battery draining issue.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to address the problem. After completing all steps, check whether the issue has been resolved or if it still exists.

Here are the troubleshooting steps you can try for your phone’s battery draining issue:

Immediate and Basic Steps
Wait for Optimization: The system may take 2–3 days, or even up to a week, to stabilize as it completes background tasks.
Restart Your Phone: A simple restart can clear temporary glitches caused by the update.
Check Battery Usage Stats:

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > View details (or Battery Usage).

  • Identify any apps with unusually high usage, especially in the background.

  • If an app is misbehaving, force stop it or put it into Deep sleep under Background usage limits.
Update All Apps: Ensure all apps are updated via the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store, as outdated apps may not be optimized for the new update.

Advanced Troubleshooting
Wipe Cache Partition: This removes potentially corrupted temporary files without deleting personal data:

  • Turn off your phone.

  • Connect it to a computer via USB cable.

  • Press and hold Volume Up + Power keys simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release.

  • In Recovery Mode, use the volume keys to navigate to Wipe cache partition and the power key to select it.

  • Select Yes to confirm, then Reboot system now.
Run Galaxy App Booster: Optimizes all apps for the new OS version:

  • Download Good Guardians from the Galaxy Store.

  • Open the app and select Galaxy App Booster.

  • Run the optimization for all apps.
Adjust Performance Profile to "Light": Prioritizes battery life and cooling over processing speed:

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Performance profile.

  • Select Light.

If the Issue Persists
If battery drain continues after two weeks despite following all troubleshooting steps, it may indicate a persistent software bug or a potential hardware issue.
