I have a Galaxy S20+ 5G with the Exynos chip and I'm facing battery drain problems. With the recent OneUI 3.0 update, the first week was fine but then the very next day, for whatever I was using the phone for, the battery percentage would reduce every 2 minutes, which is very BAD! Before this update, the battery would drain ALOT if the camera was used for about a minute and the device would heat up like crazy. You can't call a device a flagship phone if it overheats and the battery drains for the most basic things. I had taken my device to a Samsung store a few months ago regarding the battery issue while using the camera and they said that it is NORMAL. They had taken my device for observation to see if anything is going wrong and handed the device back to me after a day.
I can't do anything about my phone but I ask the people at Samsung to please stop selling two variants of the same phone without telling customers and to roll out a software update that would fix the battery drain problem.
I've come to the Samsung store once and got received my phone two days later with the specialist saying that there was no problem. The camera app drains a lot of battery for just being open.
