Galaxy STo address the battery consumption problem, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Background Apps: Ensure that unnecessary background apps are closed to prevent them from draining the battery.
2. Optimize Battery Settings: Navigate to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage and review which apps are consuming the most power. You can optimize settings or restrict background activity for these apps if necessary.
3. Update Software: Ensure that your device is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
4. Restart Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor software glitches that may be affecting battery performance.
5. Check if you are using unapproved charger
6. Check if the charger used is compatible for your Galaxy device.
7. Use Power saving mode: Power saving mode can reduce the battery consumption, by enabling Power Saving Mode in Samsung Smartphones.
8. Use the device on the safe mode : To activate the safe mode you may need to:
a. Shut down the device and restart it again.
b. When the Samsung logo displays press and holds the volume down c. key until the lock screen display.
d. When the lock screen displays Safe mode will be shown in the lower-left corner of the display.
By activating the safe mode we have just disabled the third-party application and no data have been lost. You may need to keep an eye on the device for 2-3 hours and watch the battery consumption if the issue is solved or not.
