I am using S23 Ultra.

With the recent upgrade to One UI 6.1, if we enable battery protection, Samsung has limited the battery charge limit to 80%, earlier it was 85%.

Not sure if this 5% reduction is a good step as it is something that is making the difference between me getting through the day or having to charge before I wind up for the day.

Anyone else feel the same.... Should Samsung give a choice between 80, 85 and 90%??

Adaptive says - use maximum battery while sleeping.... Not sure how that helps. When I am sleeping, there is nothing much happening either ways.

It's for maximum battery protection. Charging 80% from 0% costs 0.2 battery cycle and it increases rapidly after reaching 80%.
So it's better for your battery health to charge to 80 rather than 85%
