Battery Issues with S10 plus

I've been using S10 plus since the release and it has been quite a ride with this phone. I personally prefer this model since it has independent headphone jack and charging port. That's why I didn't move on to another phone.

The battery backup of this phone is incomprehensible. I have to charge it atleast twice a day. The idle discharge is absolutely horrendous. It goes from 100 to 60 within an hour of calls and texting. 

Have you guys replaced the battery? Did you find any improvements after a battery change?

Ok before you go for battery replacement and all, try few things 1st.
Completely discharge it once and then charge it to full.
Most important just go to Settings and Reset all Settings and Network settings (NOT Factory data reset).

Wait for ui4 update and let it smoothen out. Then check if battery drop is similar.
I am guessing you bought phone at the time of launch so 3 years and battery usually degraded after 3 years of use.

Battery life on my mother's OBE is great,if you are facing battery issue then turn on power saving mode and use Kaspersky battery saver

You can maximize the battery backup by following a few points :

● Make sure that your phone is completely charged whenever you charge it. To get the best out of your battery.

● Make sure, Wifi is turned off when not in use.

● Turn off GPS when not in use.

● Turn ON the Power Saving option in settings.
