Battery Draining Issue

Since the last march 2023 security update in my galaxy S20 plus, battery is draining very rapidly as ever. We experienced quite an improvement in battery backup after one ui 5.1 update, but now since the recent update, it's horrible really.

We do not want garbage updates to destroy our phones. Even though it's become quite an old device, Samsung doesn't have right to send useless, faulty updates to deteriorate our phones.

I barely get 3.5 to 4 hours SOT with normal usage, no gaming

If it's S20 plus E990 then you are good. It's been fixed by Samsung since Android 12 so don't expect any big change

Do some research and then comment. I used to get nearly 5 hours SOT after one ui 5.1 update, which has decreased to less than 4 hours after recent march update and you are saying well?
Don't just comment before gathering information

Better you 1st check and reply. Since A12 S20+ is always around 3.30 to 4hrs

Here you go not even gaming today use. Just social apps and office stuff.

It was in A11 S20+ used to get 6-7hrs with gaming

I have been using this device since 2020 so this is it. In A12 it was so bad of around 3hrs-3.30 but now a bit better getting at 4hrs

I am talking about android 13, not Android 12. Also, I did give post after having very unusal battery backup, very less than what is was just after one ui 5.1.
Why are you talking about android 12 all around?

And do check post of others. All the other users are also facing battery issues in other devices such as S21, S22 series after march 2023 security update.
Are you paid by samsung?

Would be happy if they pay me. It's the thing I see usually with their codebase. Rest is up to you.

My org. pays me well so no need from Samsung abt S23 already fix update wi be rolling out.

From my end I can speak only abt S20 which I use and handle to be honest that too with 💩 E990 no one can expect miracles
