Hey galaxy, is there any way to introduce Samsung's very own app lock for the phone.
Downloading third-party app locks honestly unprofessional, rough and laggy. Like on Vivo phones, they have an app manager with which they lock apps and set a PIN or access fingerprint. If Samsung could also do an app lock, it would be much appreciated.

Are you referring to a way to keep some apps locked? I think Samsung's approach is to use Secure Folder.

If anyone knows of a different approach/implementation, please do share.

I tried the secure folder and from using it, it's basically making a copy of the app (correct me if I'm wrong) and that's cloning. An app lock would be much easier In my opinion.

You're probably quite right in that an app lock could be simpler. However, with the added complexity of Secure Folder comes additional benefits: all apps & data in there would be secure, lockable and safe[r].

You can uninstall the [non-system] apps from your main space if you like, and keep the ones in your secure folder. Apps for Secure Folder can be installed from both the Google Play and Samsung App stores.

I would suggest that you use Secure Folder in the mean time, perhaps until you find another solution that works totally, for you.
