App lock for s23+

Is there any way to lock apps? This is my first samsung flagship phone,need help

Go to settings and search for Secure Folder. Start the setup process. Once done, move the files and apps to the Secure folder.

Okay..does it work like an applock or it just hides the apps?

You have to authenticate to access the apps or files within secure folder.

If you only want to hide apps, that can be done from home screen settings.
