App Icon Badge of Unread Messages Disappeared

Hello Everyone,

I wonder if anyone can help me, recently had a update and suddenly the App icon badge of unread messages has completely disappeared. I really liked this feature with Samsung, once get in your notification panel like a WhatsApp message and swipe to look in later on the WhatsApp it normally had number in white with orange round circle of unread messages. Please attached picture.

Please let me know anyone has this problem and found a solution. Thank you.😊

i had to download a app to count my unread messages

It's not any issue. It's the way of accessing notifications in android 8.0. The badge disappears as soon as you swipe the notification from the notification panel. But In android 7.0 the badge used to stay with the app even if the notifications are swiped away. Thanks.
