App Automatically Restores Permissions

Hi,

I recently noticed something strange with my Samsung device. I tried to restrict the Samsung Messaging app because I didn't want it to be intrusive.

Revoked all unnecessary permissions (media, storage, etc.) and kept only the essentials.

Turned off notifications to avoid disturbances.

However, after some time, I noticed that:

The app automatically restores all the permissions I had removed.

Notifications also turn back on by themselves.

Even after manually revoking permissions, the app seems to regain them automatically.

I find this concerning because I want more control over which apps can access my storage and send notifications. Is this normal behavior for Samsung system apps, or is there a bug? Is there a way to permanently prevent Samsung Messaging from regaining these permissions and notifications
