I purchased my s20+ 8 months ago, I've been using it with my utmost care since this is my first premium range handset. Since yesterday, I noticed a small tiny black dot around the curved screen. I checked it with my local mobile repair service associate, they are saying it's dead pixel and it's common among galaxy S series users.
Does the 12 months warranty provided by samsung on purchase covers this issue ?
P.S: this seems more like manufacturing defect rather than user mishandling.
I got the same dot in top left side of my s10+ , its a dead pixel . Though my device is almost 3 years old so expected in my device but not in s20. Samsung must improve its display quality standards
Yeh, true. I haven't even used this that much and getting dead pixels at this stage is kinda disappointing. Samsung must improve atleast for the price they are charging us.
