Android update Related

I bought a Samsung S9 Plus and thought I would get some good Android updates, but the less expensive mobiles are far ahead of me in Android updates. 

I want to know why people goona buy flagships like S series, where less expensive mobiles will go ahead with the Android update.

I will not say anything about the update coz it Samsung World No 1 "C" Brand, but I'll say one thing, if the RAM of any kinds of Samsung phone is 12GB or any numbers then half ram always used is shown in all models. Even if nothing is going on in the background. But iPhone 6s has 2GB RAM, this 2GB ram still running very well.
