Are we (Glaaxy S20FE5G) going to get the Android 14? Or it's time to switch the phone.

It seems we need to change Samsung phone every year in case we wish to be on the lastest version of Android.

It doesn't look good.

Bro, for now Android 14 for S20 FE 5G still remains a question mark, if Samsung wants then it could definitely provide A14 to this device, coz globally this device may came with Android 10, but in India it came with Android 11 & currently the indian variant only got 2 OS updates...

No, you don't need to switch every year. You just need to be sensible and know what you want before purchasing. S20fe got 3 Android updates as promised. It may still get Android 14 in India because it launched with Android 11 in India(not sure about this though).

Which Android phone will you purchase for long term updates? Even Google offers only 3 years of Android updates while Samsung offers 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates on their A series(A34 and above), S series and Z series. For example, one year old s21fe available for 35k will recieve updates till Android 16 which is same as the latest Google pixel 7a! Samsung offers the longest software support in Android ecosystem period.

However, if you buy a 3 year old phone and expect 3 more years of updates, no one can help you.

That's right.
Flagship can last easily for 3-4 years.

Bro don't waste your money simply on upgrading phones every year because every year if you buy new phone same thing happens. So be happy with what you have.

Nowadays android versions comes with very minimal changes. Instead new versions comes with more bugs.
