hi all,
im facing an issue that my S9+ doesnt stream videos of amazon prime on my Tv but streams only audio on the tv. if i play the trailers then it works fine but the full movies dont stream the video part of the movie.
i have tried streaming the same from my MI/Oneplus3t phones and stream them without any issue..
anyone else also facing this? please check n confirm.

S9 might be trying to playback HEVC or HDR content which might not be supported by the TV.

Try setting the app to play standard content, if possible. I don't stream from Amazon Prime but has faced similar issue when trying to play an HEVC encoded video on my TV with Smart view. You might want to try rebooting the phone, it might just be a random glitch in the app.

have u tried streaming on a tv also? plz do that n den confirm.. as prime doesnt directly stream, im doing smart view and then screening my screen on tv.. can u plz guide how ur trying to do ? maybe im missing something.. P.S. i have again uninstalled prime video n tried.. same issue..

tried all possible resolutions on phone.. none working.. as informed earlier,trailers get streamed but not the actual videos.. p.s. streaming happening properly in all other apps like netflix ,jio cinema etc..
