Alarm clock

Why does my Alarm not go off when my phone is on vibrate or Silent, it omly goes off when my phone is on loud, sometimes i forget to put my phone on loud and i over sleep or miss important meetings or appointments

Go to Clock > Alarm > 3 dots at the top > Settings > Turn off silence alarms when system sound is off
