Adding pics to contacts

Hello All, I'm trying to add a pic to an existing contact. I have a s9+

When going into the particular contact, I want to edit but it doesn't allow me to access the gallery?

Any assistance here, please.

Hi Ricky

Please note that you can only add pictures to contact that are saved on the device and not on the SIM. 

Please select contact>> tap on the camera icon on top of the name>>Gallery>> allow gallery>>Select picture>> tap done.

Hi RickyA,

You can only load photos to your contacts on the phone list. To load photos to your contacts do the following:-

Then Open your Contacts app.
Choose the contact you wish to edit.
Tap on that particular contact to view it's details.
Choose the Edit option from the upper right hand corner.
Once inside the Edit mode for that contact please tap on the round symbol with the camera in its centre.
The camera app should then automatically launch.
Tap on the Gallery icon from the bottom right of your camera app.
Go through the images saved in your phones Gallery and select a photo to attach to that contact.
Repeat to edit your other contacts.
