Yeah sure it looks smoother with the animations. But to be honest, OneUI 7 has to beone of the most unoriginal copypasta coming out of Samsung developers in history. From the sounds sounding like a fricking Redmi or any generic OS sound, to the UI just a blatant copy of iOS.
It might be that the main motive was to make iOS users easily switch to Android. But for all of us already using and loving the OG OneUI look and feel, it feels like a huge steal.
Icons don't make any sense. Weird color combos, iOS like look, and rather worse (look at the call icon lmao). There no personality anymore.
Call it a rant but OneUI 7 genuinely hurts to look at or hear. Lively, but utmost uncreative and without the personality that OneUI was known for, for the last 6 generations.
After the Galaxy S24 Ultra (if i even jump from N20U to one), I'll probably look to a Xiaomi or even an iPhone for the first time for that matter.
