Galaxy SThank you for sharing your suggestion regarding the App Lock feature on your device. We understand that having the ability to lock individual applications can be an important privacy feature for many users.
Currently, Samsung devices do not provide a dedicated built-in option to lock each app individually through system settings. Instead, Samsung offers Secure Folder, which allows you to place selected apps inside a protected environment secured by a PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication. This feature helps protect sensitive applications and data on your device.
You may use Secure Folder by following these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Security and privacy.
- Select Secure Folder and complete the setup.
- Add the applications you wish to protect inside the Secure Folder.
- We appreciate your feedback regarding the request for a native App Lock feature.
Suggestions from users are valuable and help improve future software updates and device features.
