Which one is better??

Please suggest which one is better for long life..

Seagate. I had 1 TB WD hard drive. It crashed without fall just by kept plugged in TV usb port.

is there any special things to do for connecting hdd in pc and mobile..or it just plug and play..

Now a day you get usb portable hard drives and ssd's which are inside case and are plug and play.

Otherwise you need to purchase connector separately.

If you want to add another HDD to your PC, you will first connect it and then what you would like to do is to

1. Right click on This PC (Or My Computer)
2. Click on Manage
3. Click on Disk Management
4. You will see a new drive in the bottom list, right click on that drive (small area on the left) and select "Initialize" or "Initialize drive" (I can't recall the exact) and after it is done,
5. Right click on the large area on the right and click "New Simple Volume" and create the volume.
