The battery of On5 pro has got swollen. Can I continue using it for a month or so without risk?

I don't think so. You should replace it.

I have never seen battery bursting into flames during charging or using, except heard of note 7 battery fiasco.
So you can use it, but it depends on how much it has swollen. If you use company battery and not chinese one you can use it for sometime if not swollen much.
I am using nokia x1 swollen batery for more than 6 months without any issues.
Otherwise you need to be careful while charging only.
