why is galaxy note 8 not getting one ui 2.0 update ?

Galaxy Note 8 was launched with Android 7 Noughat. And Samsung provides two major Android OS updates to its smartphones. So Android 9 Pie was the last major update for it. It will not get Android 10 (One UI 2.0).

Galaxy note 8 is outdated and part of archives. It will not get anymore updates full stop. Buy a new phone or continue to use it with quarterly security patches. cheers
