Whenever I bother about battery, I just observe the overnight reduction. If it is 1 or 2 %, I am happy. I don't believe these estimations. But it may work good for routine-users.

you are right. this estimations are not accurate. But idle time drop is very less as yours.
On the other side we should accept the fact that if we getting more features then there will more discharge rate.

Yes, I agree. That may be the reason why even top phones have giant batteries too, the back up seems to be almost same for all.

I notice huge differences in display brightness, between indoors and outdoors. A normal situation where all the estimations fail.
