note 8 battery drain problem.

hi every one. I want to share my experience after updating my note 8 to oreo. I am facing some issues like WhatsApp application crashes very frequently but my main concern is battery timing after oreo update my note8 battery just drains very quickly like more then 30% within 2 hours with just normal mobile usage. no Facebook and YouTube. only WhatsApp.
any other note8 user experience the same issue ?

Hi have noticed the same battery drain after the recent update. During my previous usage, I would go about 65% by night time but now I'm reaching for the charger by 6pm. I'm not a heavy user so I know that something was off with the latest update.

Go for hard reset (factory default) and try, hope it will solve the problem.

Don't restore backup, setup as new device after reset.

ok. my device heats up too while charging. this was not the issue before oreo.

have you tried hard reset on your device?

Go to battery, advanced setting and switch off fast cable charging and see the difference.

Already disabled it. now my phones battery is working normal like it was before. I didn't hard reset my phone,. don't know how it fixed. strange but glad it is working fine now.
