Whenever change over from flight mode on and off, it takes very long time to get register in network. Almost 10 min. Normally after restarting only it search and network registration done.
Also last time when one person came with me using Note 8, he was using same Note 8 same network but after switching off flight mode network registration done in immediately.
My Note is updated till date with latest updates.

- Check by using any other Sim card.
- Ensure that network frequency of your device should be selected on Auto-mode.
- Menu > Settings > Connections > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Select auto mode (GSM/WCDMA/LTE).
- Search for the Network Manually as follows:
Menu > Settings > Connections > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Select Manual Search.
- Please do reset your device on factory mode after taking the data backup Via Smart switch.
