Hi, Last couple of days , i have observed that camera light sensor is consuming battery to the tune of 5-8% . What is this camera light sensor ? I didnt find this earlier ? Why is it showing now .
Mobile - samsung galaxy note 10 lite.

This may be due to front camera used as face unlock. just turn off once and check. Even in face unlock settings there is one option called increase brightness to unlock in dark area. turn off. I'm also using note 10 plus. I tested apps from the setting. there is no such files.

i am not using front camera to unlock phone. the adaptive brightness has been always on from day 1. why is the drain started showing since a few days back. Moreover , adaptive brightness is an imp feature of the phone. i dont want to manually control the screen brightness . There has to be some other solution to this

Turn off adaptive or auto brightness mode amd also turn off face unlock and check,but there is no permanent solution..

have you installed any 3rd party apps which might creat this issue. otherwise it's bug. either you have to flash software @ service center.

Hi, is this problem resolved for you? i am also using note 10 lite. This system app is draining around 8% every 24hr

I'm facing the same issue. Adaptive brightness can be turned off but this is not the solution. Did you get any fix for it?
