Am watching my note 10 plus draining battery during standby mode like 1% every one hour after android 10 update, earlier in android pie it was draining 1% every two hours. Why Samsung does this? Standby battery drain is a issue in every Samsung phone after OS update. To hell with Samsung OS updates. Standby battery life is very important everyday, phones shouldn't drain the battery in standby mode.
Use the following ways to troubleshoot battery drainage issue.
1Check whether Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC/S Beam, Tethering and Portable Hotspot is turned on when not in use.
2Check whether the Brightness of the device is set to minimum or not.
3Smart Features in Flagship phones like Motion UI, Smart Stay, Air Gestures, Screen Mirroring etc will drain battery considerably.
4Check Power Saving Mode (If available)
5Auto Sync of E-mails, App data etc will drain battery.
6Multiple Applications running in back ground will drain battery power.
7Check the Network Mode as 4G Network mode will drain more battery compared to 2G/2.5G/3G mode.
8Network Fluctuation also drains battery.
9Minimizing the back-light time would save battery.
10Follow the standard charging procedure (i.e. charge a fully discharge battery in Switch-off mode up to 150 mins.)
11Periodic Software Update through FOTA or Smart Switch is intended to improve the battery life as well.
