I have note 10, since few months my notification on lockscreen turns off automatically
I usually get icon on my AOD and lockscreen as I have kept in setting, once turned on it will automatically turns off in 2-3 days, I don't know how. I don't any any customization apps as such. Then I would usually turn it up again and again on I stop receiving icons on my AOD.
Also If you can help further, I never receive edge lighting effect for my AOD, yes I have it on in setting as "Always" but I never get edge lighting notification on AOD or lockscreen. It only shows when screen is turned on.
