I recently wanted to clear cache partition on my Note 20 Ultra. I tried to enter recovery mode but I was unable to, soon I saw on net that someone said to plug device in charger and try. Then I was getting message as error entering recovery.... pdp..... thing. Then someone said to try with plugin it in pc or laptop and it worked.

I want to know that is there a way to enter recovery mode without plugin and stuff, and also since when this things started and is it in all note devices or I am a in some special case.

It is with Exynos variant. Not with SD variant as I have heard.

Yes, this is true
Only exynos variants need this
Neither Snapdragon nor Mediatek

This is a good move I think for security reasons.
