WhatsApp voice button issue

Anyone notice while using full screen gesture the WhatsApp voice button is working properly and Google Voice search pops up when locking the voice record button.

I am using full screen gestures shown in attached picture. Problem starts when using the voice recording/messaging button in WhatsApp also shown in picture. By using it by pressing the voice button constantly sometimes it'll let go and my messages goes half to the other person. And for swiping up 95% of the time it'll open Google Voice Search pops up intead locking the voice message button in WhatsApp as shown in attached picture.

Hi.. have you found any solution for this issue?.I am facing the.same issue. Disabling the Samsung navigation gesture is the only temporary solution I found...please update if you found a better solution

Getting the same issue on Galaxy S21. It's annoying. Most of the time what happens is my finger slightly moves and it detects that as a "go back" gesture, so it sends an incomplete Voice Note and goes back to chats. Sad this wasn't thought out properly because I really like using Full Screen Gestures.

Kindly try to clear the cache of the WhatsApp:

1. Go to 'Settings' of your phone.

2. Select 'Applications'

3. Search WhatsApp.

4. Go to 'Storage'

5. Clear cache.

Had the same issue, but worser. My audios did not work past 4-5secs when I was recording it.
Clearing the cache solved that issue. But the popping up of google voice search remained the same.

A small temporary solution that I found out was that - once you start recording move your finger slightly towards the "bin" icon that cancels that voice from being sent and then just swipe towards the RIGHT UP of the screen; do not move too close to the bin, voice gets cancelled.

I have the exact same issue and is very annoying and frustrating. The only way I resolve the issue by using the gesture with 3 buttons instead of the combined gestures in one button. I do hope Samsung releases an update to fix this annoying issue

Hi I have the same issue and ended up not using the gestures because its too annoying not to be able to hold the whatsapp audio recording. Such a pity. The cache attemp did not solve the issue.
