WhatsApp camera fault

There is a problem with in whatsapp that we have identified on a two android devices.it looks normal on the screen but the cameras is actually zoomed in to a top corner. The recipient of a video call gets a wonky visual. When I took a video in whatsapp now it looked fine when I took it but playback is zoomed into a top corner. This rendered whatsapp camera unusable. Please fix urgently!

I also have this problem since GALAXY NOTE9 software updated to version N960FXXSBFUE5 yesterday. When taking a photo in Whatsapp, the live image appear zoomed into the top left corner of the image that will be captured. Please fix this urgently.

Hi, kindly clear your cache.

Follow the steps below to do this:

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Apps.
4. Select WhatsApp Icon.
5. Select Storage.
6. Select Clear Cache.

If the issue persists, please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.

WhatsApp support replied saying that they know about the problem and will fix in next update.

I will try your suggestion though.
