What's RCS messaging?

Hi all,

Can anyone from here explain me what's RCS messaging? Was this introduced by Samsung in Note10 series in the last update? Quick response on this is appreciated.

Google about RCS you will get the info. RCS was introduced in S10 as well in the last update.

Yes for A50 it was introduced with June update but only Vodafone supports RCS as of now 😕

No idea only Vodafone supports it.

You'll have to use google messages to get RCS is you are on airtel. For Vodafone or idea sim, you'll get a prompt in the Samsung Messages App only.

RCS stands for Rich communication standard. It's like a imessage but for android. if two phones support RCS protocol, then you can send and receive text messages, photos and videos without incurring any additional cost right from your messages app. This is only possible if the messages app in both senders and receivers phone asupports RCS. Right now Samsung is the only OEM in india that supports RCS protocol...Hope this helps...
