Why the hell does the Voice Recorder needs permission of Nearby devices and Phone to do a normal voice recording. It doesn't even start if you don't give these permissions!

This is just outright breach on customers' control of their devices.

I used it once to record 1 single call directly while on the call. But in Settings by Record calls is off.

Also, this is voice recorder app...what does it have to do with the call recorder, which is a part of Phone app itself!

The nearby device permission significance: can voice record if the device is connected to a Bluetooth device.
The Phone permission significance: Due to Google's privacy policy, Samsung has changed the source to the voice recording app to identify the caller for the call recordings.
You can visit the following website for more information and here is a screenshot which can help you.

I understand the use bro. But shouldn't it ask those permission when I am using Bluetooth devices or when I am recording calls. But here it doesn't even start with out those permission. I can't record my voice from the phone's microphone!

This should be answered by tech experts of the Samsung Android platform. While understanding your query I found this. This is 🤯. This is the phone permission for the voice recorder app. How can they call without our intervention. Screenshot_20220208-063341_Permission controller.jpg

Bro, when it ask for nearby device, there is a bluetooth logo appears at top. I assume, it ask for that only if you record voice using any bluetooth device.
