Updating firmware and security patch

I recently purchased a refurbished note 9 with android 9 with November 2019 security patch. I've tried to upgrading it to undroid 10 an ui 2.5 through Odin and I alot of obstacles with pit and bootloader fails. Should I just be patient, samsung will send them or I have to manually to it?

that happened to my tablet but I fixed it by reseting my tablet

I also hard reset the phone when I bought it and did a factory reset

I reseted it from Android Recovery because I had a Samsung Account

I also do have a samsung account, can it work if I reset it from Android recovery?
