Updating firmware and security patch

I recently purchased a refurbished note 9 with android 9 with November 2019 security patch. I've tried to upgrading it to undroid 10 an ui 2.5 through Odin and I alot of obstacles with pit and bootloader fails. Should I just be patient, samsung will send them or I have to manually to it?

Please advise also of its possible to use XSG UAE instead of XXV Vietnam

Yeah it's possible to change it to XSG. But I suggest you to install the INS(Indian) version as call recorder is available. If call recorder is not a big deal you can install XSG variant.

First download the XSG or INS firmware from sammobile and flash it with Odin.

1. You don't need to use the PIT file. You need BL, AP, CP, CSC( don't use home csc)

2. Make sure that the USB cable and USB drivers are working

If you need the latest Indian firmware, I have a downloaded copy with me which is around 5GB(INS) I can upload it to my drive and can give you the link.
If you face any error while installing, sent a photo of the error screen.

I saw a YouTube video that said the binary number that I have highlighted has to be the same. Confirm that pls

Doesn't matter, the latest firmware is S7. As long as you flash the correct combination of files, it will work irrespective your current baseband.

Then exactly was my problem coz I downloaded from updato but flashing I had a binary check fail on my phone

It's because you tried to install an older binary version.

So any can work so long as it's the latest version provided it's for SM-N960F

Technically yes if you are installing a firmware with newer firmware. Downgrading will depend upon the installed security policy.
