Unable to receive calls and/or access 4g data until airplane mode is toggled

There are two issues that occurs randomly. I have even replaced my sim with a new sim card. I have checked with other Vodafone sim cards in my family. No one faces this issue and I have tested this at same location that is my residence. The issues happens to occur only in note 9. For both the mentioned issues, I need to toggle airplane mode to get back proper calls and mobile data connectivity. And this happens at any location and is not specific to particular location. 1) Even if there is network, I can't receive calls. I have tested this many times. 2) Even if there is full network, I can see E symbol over the network i.e. there is only 2g data speeds. To get back 4g, I need to toggle airplane mode. The above issue does not occur to other Vodafone users in my family. It happens only with note 9.

This happens with my S9 as well. Where the other phones having 4G signal, mine receives a E!

same happening with jio from 2 months on my note 8

Same on my Galaxy J5 Prime with a Vodafone 4G SIM. I'm also not getting VoLTE even though my phone supports it.
