USB OTG not detecting

i cant read usb drives on phone. its was working well with note 4. now with that small adapter nothing is happening. regretting upgrade.

there is dedicated otg adapter with c type connector. if you use the micro usb to c- type... it will not work.

thanks man. yes. but it should work right? we can use it for data transfer from pc though. i think the issue can be powering up the usb can't be done with this adapter.

the smaller one is only for charging.. while the otg adapter with c type connector can work with transferring files directly to your pen drive. sad to say, i have not tried to use the small adapter on a usb cable and transfer data on the pc. if u try and won't work then you have to buy a c type usb cable
