The last Samsung One UI 3.1 upgrade (Android 11) has made file management on my Tab S6 extremely slow and sluggish (it takes 7 times longer to count files, delete files, etc, than it did before the upgrade). This simply must be fixed!

Thanks; I'm curious why the S6 have to be connected with another device? Wiping the cache partition doesn't require connection to another device....

I figured it out finally. I followed all three of your steps, and it did no good at all. It is still as slow as it has been. Thanks anyway.
