I'm owning a Note 20 Ultra and tried many type C to 3.5mm jack adapter but having no luck on hearing music. It shows device not supported. Anyone got luck using this adapter and, if so, pls do let me know the brand you've purchased. Samsung is pushing it so hard restricting users to use 3rd party adapters.

Even I was shocked to see their own brand isn't compatible with their flagship series. May be the one they gave might be defective. I will give one more try with different showroom.

Yes the same in Samsung Care. In compatibility it shows only Note 10 not Note 20. As I said before, samsung made some changes in the DAC.

Can't invest 10k on BT since I need to get AptxHD to have a 24bit transmission. That's the reason looking for an adapter.

Do you got any adaptor working for you??
BTW,
There are 2 types of adapter, passive and active...
Passive doesn't have DAC
Active have DAC
For S series, there is no internal daq, so only digital gets out from usb type-c port. So u need adapter with dac support. Along with that do check, whether that adaptor supports mic and remote control.

I've tried Samsung own adapter that failed to work. Finally got a Bluetooth headphone that has LDAC codec support.

I have external dac, it was not working, but I figured out why. It was because of usb audio player pro App, it was hijacking the audio.
Now it's working fine. Do you have any similar app installed?
As by default, any adaptor which has external Dac should work with phone.
You can also check adaptor in safe mode.
