I wonder what phone you own because I've used mainly all the flagship from the best brands and also I do not want negativity from a kid.

double press the home button and the screen will awake also force touch the home button has the same effect so tap to wakw is kind of redundant.....when i take my s8 out of my pocket my thumb automatically rests on the home button and force presses it and bam it wakes up
do that and pretty quick youll get used to it
