Slow Wifi problem on Note 10 +

I recently upgraded to a new broadband connection with 50 mbps plan. But since then i started noticing that max speed that i could get on my note 10+ was 30-35 mbps. First i thought it is my router because devices connected with lan get full 50 mbps. But then i tested other old mobile phones at my home like s8 and a8 2018 they both get 45-50 mbps everytime. Then when i googled the problem i came to several others also face the same problem and some of the solutions suggested were of no use after reseting network settings or clearing cache partiotion from recovery i do get 50 mbps on speedtest but only for 10-20 minutes or should i say after 3-4 speedtests the 5th one again goes back to 20-35mbps always even with full wifi strength. 

I hope to get a solution and want to know how many otgers have the same problem. Kindly help if you can i feels bad when a expensive mobile phone

Comes out slower than a mid range 2-3 year old phones.

I would like to add that it was since i upgraded to 50 mbps broadband that i started noticing the slow speed because before this is used to think the old broadband is slow never considered it might be the phone.

first of all more number of devices the lesser then speed is let me ask you how many devices are connected in the house

there are many devices but im going and closing each and every single one when i m trying the speedtest right now. Even when i dont still i get 45+ on all other devices so it is not the problem.only noye stays below 30or 35 dosent matter if its the only device conneted to wifi or not

do you use dual-band wifi

no brother my router does not support dual band. but you can see i have attached the images comparing speeds on s8 and note10+. only this device is not able to perform well with this router.

It is true that lan connection will give better speed. Wi-Fi always has less speed due to radio waves obstacles. Your 50mbps will get divided to all devices that you have at your home. If you want better control of your Wi-Fi and speed get mesh router. This is new technology and works on triband radio. Will take me long time to explain so you can goggle it..

also may be your older devices is using 2.4ghz and not 5ghz. First one has longer range compared to 5ghz, but you get better speed in 5ghz. You should call your ISP provider to have your router configured correctly.

i know all that im just asking why does old devices can get 48 to 50 mbps full speed on the same router without turning off other devices and... why does note 10+ when it is the only thing connected to that router still only gets 25-35 at max sometomes goes below 15 as well. not only devices connected by lan are getting full 50 even as i mentioned s8 and a8 2018 2-3 years older devices getting full 45-50 speed

thank you for trying tho but you reiterated all that i was watching on youtube and other site. but the point is that on 2.4 ghz only wuth same router only other every mobile in my house is getting 45 mbps at an average. even the giy who came to install the broadband tested in front of me on a mi phone and it also gave 48 mbps

since you already reset your network and got no better speed last thing to do is delete your network and cache and add network again and check. But let me tell you, one will never get speed equal to lan connection. With wifi there is variance of 10-15mbps
