Howdy.

So last night I put my alarms on my phone (usual scheudle) and went to sleep. Then in the morning when I woke up there is a green line vertically on the phone. I didn't drop my phone the last month or get it in contact with water. Is there is possible fix or solution for this?.
Also I have a note20 Ultra and what's the warranty period

Hi... sorry to hear that 😞

This is a manufacturing issue mainly on S20 series. But last in the last few weeks, saw this issue on a few Note 20 series as well 😐
So far the only solution is to replace the display. Usually, (without a Samsung care pack or any extended warranties)
they offer one year warranty period.

This is a common problem in galaxy s20 series. The only solution is to replace the display. Due to the situation of the country replacing the display is very expensive. Try to minimise the screen on time to increase the lifetime of the display. This occurs due to a manufacturing defect. Replacing the s20 ultra display will cost about 120,000/=. Warranty period is one year

Hi,
The sad truth is that it might have been water damage. If you did not wipe off the water properly, water might have entered somehow though its iP68 rating manufacture clearly says that you can dipp it in Clear Water 1.5 meter for 30 minutes.

Try this method but if the green line is permanent, which means the display ic or the ribbon might have been damaged.

1. Power off the phone, let it cool down, then apply a bit of heat, use a hair dryer apply the minimum heat possible so that other components want get damaged apply the hear for 5 to 10 minits, let it cool down repeat it twice and then let it fully cool down and try powering it on if it still occurs you might need to get it check from an authorised service centre

It's not your fault If it's a manufacturing issue... 😐 we saw many cases in the S20 series. But rarely seen on Note 20 series.

Shouldn't they refund it then 💀

Normally, we have to bear the cost if not covered by the warranty. Better to check with a Samsung service center.

Warranty has expired sadly because this is one year warranty
