Screen Turning Yellow

Very recently I noticed that the screen of my phone (Note 9) turns Yellow with black horizontal lines.

This seems to have started after a recent update. Is anybody else facing a similar issue?

I saw some similar complaints on searching on Google but no real solution.

I observed the issue when my 2 year old note 9 fell in water.(although water resistant). The indicator inside the sim card tray is also normal indicating no water. However I got a notification that 'water is detected in usb port' for a short while. For 2 days the screen was yellow and with horizontal lines. The issue was internittent for me and sometines the screen clears off on its own the issue comes back afterwards. It is hot weather here anyway (~30-40 degC). After 2 days the screen started working normally. I guess the water resistance wears off after 1,2 years of usage and we have to be careful not to expose it to water.
