Galaxy NoteHi,
I was trying to record an online meeting on Cisco WebEx using my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. From the Notification bar I clicked on Screen Recording option with 1080i and audio (no mic) recording only however at the end of the session I try to replay the recording to my astonishment only the screen got recorded not the audio.
Any help why or how this happens, what went wrong
Regards,
Yogesh

Galaxy NoteWhile talking in messenger if you do screen recording then will it record audio no
While talking in whats app also you cant record audio it will record screen but u wont hear sound
Like that only while in meeting you cant record audio because your microphone is already being used and you are mute so.

Galaxy NoteI understand what you say, but can you explain why then does the screen recorder in Galaxy Note 20 Ultra allow user to choose from 3 options, 1. no media, 2. media only, 3. media and mic? you haven't replied to this?
Are you suggesting that these option don't work for meeting apps?
Thanks.

Galaxy NoteAs per the Privacy policy of android you can only use microphone for a single use like for conversation or for screen recorder. This is because your phone doesn't have internal sound recording feature. So this is the reason you didn't find sound in your recorded video.
Thank You

Galaxy NoteHi, I don't get it, the screen recording allows users to choose form 3 options, and I choose 2 hence any kind of media sound should get recorded - right?
1. No sound
2. Media sound
3. Media and mic sound
and if there are legal issues then why have it, and how come other apps record and google allows them? I am to believe that quoting the "(il)legal" word Samsung is getting away with it. why then does it provide such features if everything is legally not allowed. it's like selling a phone with advertising high end features and pocketing the money.

Galaxy NoteZoom or Webex calls or even VoWiFi calls are VoIP calls which need a dedicated VoIP call recorder. You can't treat the Webex audio as media technically. So, in-built recorder here will not work. Can try some VoIP call recording apps from playstore. Hope this helps.
