They have to fix this because this is a blunder created by them not by us. Also That impact is big think about those who do not have a secondary device, those got totally disconnected and have to borrow the device from some of their friends.
yes your are absolutely correct brother it is very serious issue. ofcourse they provided solution but what about those who have no laptop or pc and going to service center in this pandemic situation and it is very bad that most of service centers and custom care support has no idea about this issue
that message was posted in Samsung members notices on 29 July and when they provided the recovery steps on 30 july they delete that notice for now there are only recovery steps only and nothing more about note 8
You are telling impact on limited devices, yday i had been to 2 service centers in hyderabad at these centers half of the people came for this issue only. samsung should release android update OTA removing the july patch or stock andriod 9.0 /10 whatever with SAMSUNG UI , for this i think minutes time is required but i dont know why SAMSUNG is struggling . 2 Days with out phone is drastically effected my productivity .
note that I'm not saying that issue is only in few devices they said that but ofcourse every Note 8 users who installed july 2020 security patch update got this issue.
