I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding an issue I am facing with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. I have always been a satisfied user of Samsung products and have appreciated their quality and innovation. However, this is the first time I have experienced such a serious problem, and I feel disheartened.
Over the past few days, my phone has been showing signs of display flickering. At times, faint green lines appear on the screen, and occasionally, the display goes completely black, making the device unusable. Interestingly, when I dial the Samsung test code (#0#), the flickering temporarily stops, but the issue returns during normal usage.
There is no physical or water damage to the device. It has never been dropped or mishandled. The screen is original, and the phone has never been opened or repaired by any unauthorized party. I even performed a factory reset, hoping it might solve the issue—but the flickering persists.
As a student, I have very limited financial resources and cannot afford a costly repair. This issue appears to be related to a software or system-level glitch, not a hardware failure, and I believe that should be considered when determining repair eligibility.
I respectfully request that Samsung provide me with:
Clear guidance on how this issue can be resolved.
Any possible support, relief, or discount for the repair process.
Assurance that such problems—possibly caused by software updates—will be taken seriously and fairly.
