Samsung is doing the same mistake which Nokia done in the past.
Samsung has discontinued Note series which is the most popular choice among majority of people similarly Nokia discontinued its Communicator model and as a result people stopped buying the brand.
I cant imagine buying any samsung model except Note series and if Samsung has decided to discontinue it then the future of Samsung popularity seems not bright to me.
Samsung actually will merge the two series of Note and S, soon they will announced the S series with couple of modles including the S Ultra which has an S Pen. So don't worry you will have what your looking for:)
yes there are a lot of reports about disconnecting Note series but no official word from Samsung about this the only official that there won't be Note in 2021, so we have to wait and see
