S pen is not working

My s pen is not working. Also the phone doesn't recognize when I insert or remove it.

What is the issue? Is there a simple way of resolving this?

Did you trying resetting the Galaxy Note. For safe measure, reset the S-Pen by pressing its Reset button.

Before above step. Try this one.

Reboot the phone in Safe Mode.

Similar to Safe Mode on a Windows PC, this is a minimal way to boot the phone without apps or other extras getting in the way. It will help you rule out a low-level problem and figure out what's getting in the way.

Power off the phone.

After the phone off, press and hold the Power button.When the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and hold the Volume Down button.Hold the Volume Down button until the device is done booting.

You should see Safe Mode in the lower-left corner of the screen.

Try the S-Pen again

I tried and finally realized that it's due to the fault of my S-pen. I paired an S-pen of one of my friends and then it works properly.
